Exclamation Alternator Won't Charge Battery

This is for a 2000 C5 Corvette (LS1):

So we just got done installing longtube headers and we had to pull the starter in order to have enough clearance.

Unfortunately, we're dumb and forgot to note the correct wiring pattern for the starter and now, the car will fire up just fine, but the alternator won't charge the battery.

Does anyone have a diagram for wiring the LS1 starter or can anyone give me a simple walkthrough for the pattern? I looked around the internet and couldn't find a real diagram for wiring the starter.

Any help is appreciated!

Did you break the little excitor wire that plugs into the alternator during the project?

Its little, you can break it by blowing on it.

I don't think we broke that

It's also throwing a P1638 H C code, which means General F-Terminal Circuit

I think this may actually be it. Does anyone have a picture of it? Again, I searched for one and couldn't find it

Thanks!

I don't think its the exciter wire anymore. It's gotta be the starter wiring.

Does anyone have an LS1 starter wiring diagram?
