Default Shock issue

The top of my bilstein shock where the threads are is rubbing on the inner side of my front right fender causeing an awful squeeking noise. I pulled the coilover out and saw fresh metal up top on the inside and the threaded portion being worn down a bit on the very end of the shock. The bolt is in rock solid and the isolater underneath is new. what would cause this? i had 1LE bushings put in recently, and all the ball joints on that side are new...Even the top strut mount is new. WTF??

Either post some pictures for an educated solution or let 1000 people guess at the answer.

Which one would you rather do?
