Default Oil Drain Plug

So I'm trying to change my oil. Simple enough and I've done it before. Yet when I go to remove the drain plug it refuses to budge, something got it stuck. I've got the right sized wrench and I know everything works, yet for some reason this time the plug refuses to move and instead the sides of the bolt are starting of give, so I had to back off it before I rounded it out.

Any ideas on what could be causing it to stick and experience on how to get it out?

Here wat I do,

Buy new drain plug
spray some pb blaster
Using vigrib and clamp that old bolt DOWN
GIVE IT A MAN KICK on that vigrib, and you will loose that bolt off.

Looking at the bolt, turn it leftwards. Use a six-sided wrench or socket. Use a breaker bar or pipe if you need to.

After you get it off, don't take it to a IffyLube any more (if you did), and remember bolts don't need to be tightened to within an inch of their lives. Maybe get a torque wrench.

If you cross-threaded it, get a new plug that cuts new threads.
