hello to all ...im new to this so wanted to thank anyone with info in advance! i have a 96 camaro base model 3.8 auto trans 4l60e my shift cable broke so i was told to order part number 12558306 so i did and it doesnt fit like needed and also the original shift cable has been discontinued i believe or so was told from a chevy dealer...what can i do to resolve this issue does anyone have any ideas...someone had said something about changin the brackets??? im not sure someone please help thanks....
