Heat problem
Ok guys, let me throw this at at ya.
My 97 lt1, when the heater is turned on, and the engine is warmed up it comes out luke warm. Yesterday I changed the thermostat and flushed and added new anti freeze. It still comes out luke warm at operating temperature.
The heater core is not leaking and all tubes are hot to the touch in the engine bay. I can verify the thermostat is opening, and fluid is cycling.
I took a peek at the cable that runs from the hvac controls to the fan area, and the cable is functioning properly.
Any ideas? I can hear the vent door inside the fan area is moving, so it's not getting stuck. Any help would be very appreciated since it's getting cold out here now a days.
