Default Trunk Flooding

Hey all,

I had been hearing this insane rattling from the trunk area. So I decided to pop it and see what was going on back there. Well to my surprise the trunk area had a good inch of water in it. All around the edge of the trunk was dry. Not sure where exactly it is coming from. I notice when I go over a speed bump or something it sounds like the trunk lid bounces, it stays closed but it is irritating. Is there anyway to adjust it on the 98-02 cars? I will say I miss my 3rd gen motorized one.

check your seal all around the hatchback. to adjust the rattle when going cover speed bumps there r two rubber stops at each corner by the rear light bezel. those can be turned in or out to prevent that exact thing your talking about. my question is why would this happen. inspect both mounts to hatchback and seal.
