Replacing the chattering old compressor with a new one. Not sure how the old one was but connecting the lines to the back of the compressor has me wondering.

Does that assembly sit flat on the compressor or up a 1/8 inch? I have both o-rings on and it's not sitting flat on the compressor. Will post pics of the car in a bit
