rear end knock...
ok so when im driving about 20-30 mph is when i hear it the most... it sounds like a knock coming from the rear of the car and it gets a little louder when i turn the wheel to the left and a little more louder when i turn the wheel to the right... i mainly only notice when my foot is off the gas... any ideas?

Try replacing the differential fluid and don't forget to add the posi-traction additive! My car came with a torsen rear end, and it does not make any scary noises (most of the time). I have been running 1 bottle of 85W-140 gear oil and 1 bottle of Lucas Oil Stabilizer. I have heard and seen that the Lucas Oil Stabilizer will foam, so for the next fluid change I will just run two bottles of 85W-140 and the positraction additive.

It is not required, but some people have had success in that helps to quiet it down. I have not experienced a "rocks in a box" or "rusty screw" noise when using the additive or using a fluid that works in place of the additive (Lucas/Royal Purple/etc.).

Worth a shot, regardless. I have 175k miles and probably over 100 R-compound tire passes on my stock 3.42 posi torsen 10-bolt. Replacing the fluid regularly is a good thing.

Only one thing will stop that noise, replacing it with a different carrier. The noise is there in your car you just havn't heard it yet for what ever reason. If you coast at 30mph and turn the wheel you will hear it. I've driven 100's of LS1 cars with the torsen differential and they all do it.
