Service vehicle light??? car acting strange
ok, my car 2001 ws6 sat all winter we redid the whole stereo system and all done professionally. Battery died a few times from sitting over the winter.
problem,
car now is acting weird, the ABS INOP light goes on and the pedal has like a pop to it
also the TCS switch is flikering then turns it self on (i have the SLP TCS REverse module) and the car develops a bad stumble when trying to accelerate...now this seems to come and go.
Tried scanning at Autozone and the scanner shows nothing cus there are no SES lights just a Service Vehicle light
and the headlights flip up now everytime i hit the key fob, (i need to replace a headlight motor) but this was going on before the above issues
i checked the grounds to the battery, found one a little loose tightened it and still no change, load tested the battery and it shows a little weak but not bad and the alt shows as charging fine with the load tester
any thoughts???? what sets off the Service Vehicle light and how do i scan it?

Batteries are easy to replace and probably necessary at this point. I've chased many a problem like you're having and it all came down to the battery. Replace that first, then you can further trace down the culprit if it's still around.

If its not the battery it sounds like your BCM is freaking out. I would remove the TCS reverse just until you get everything sorted out. Aftermarket stuff always makes diagnostics harder. Oh, and you can get the code scanned by autozone, just don't buy any parts till you have the circuit actually checked out. (i.e. if you have a MAF code don't just buy a MAF until its diagnosed as bad).

I was thinking of just doing the battery anyways and going from there
how do i reset the BCM?
