Window rolls down but gets stuck an make a thumping sound when going up

It just started doing this yesterday.. It rolls down just fine.. But when I go to roll it back up it doesn't move an just makes a clicking noise.. I don't believe it's the motor because it rolls down with ease.. Could it be the track has broken?

Sounds like motor coming loose from regulator.

My motor made that sound before it died, went down smooth and made a popping sound when going up. It then began to stick down. When I removed it the motor would turn but as soon as I put a load on it - dead.
