Default alarm remote

Whats up guys, i recently bought a 02 ws6 and the guy i bought the car from said he didnt have the alarm remote so now when i lock my car and I u lock it, it gives me about 10 seconds to turn the car on before the alarm goes off, it sounds like the stock alarm system because my friends 02 ws6 sounds the exact same way and does the same thing if he unlocks his door without the remote....so is there anything i can do?

yes, there is a how to on here somewhere that will tell you how to reprogram a remote. You can buy one on eGay or where ever, and they usually come with instructions. Just make sure you get the right one for your model of car.

Until you get a fob you can just use the manual slide locks...won't arm the alarm.
