Default Car taking longer to start

Here's what has been happening....

1. Car would take roughly 5-10 seconds to start>> Replaced fuel pump.Didn't help.
2. Replaced fuel pressure regulator>>Will start fine after sitting overnight, but I have to pump the gas to get her to start after 4-5 seconds of cranking throughout the day. Checked injectors during regulator install, didn't notice anything odd.
3. Car runs strong when started,no hesitations.
4.Not sure when fuel filter was replaced, but I'm not sure if that would be it.Seems to me I would have problems when the car was running also, which I don't.
5.Going to check pressure again tomorrow to verify what I got when I replaced the regulator.
6.Car turns over fine,no battery problems.

Anyone else have any other thoughts? I'm parking it until I find out what is going on,I have already been stranded one time.

^^^ It could.......A bad MAF will cause a "no start". A dirty MAF will cause "hard starts".

Its a cheap fix if thats what it is.......

^^^ would that explain the hard starts ,but otherwise runs fine?
I'll hit it with some MAF cleaner tomorrow.

I'm just throwing that in the mix of easy, cheap things to fix that can cause hard starts......

....because from how it was explained to me.........after the engine gets to 122* the MAF is off, until you go WOT. So a dirty MAF will just cause problems, as it gets more and more dirty things will get worse and worse.

Give it a try.....then check other things.

Did a fuel pressure test and when the pump is priming I get 40psi and then I hear what sound like a click and it drops to 0. I just assume that it's dropping to 0 after the pump stops priming? I unhooked the FPR vacuum line at it went from 3opsi to 40psi at idle.Could my new(bad) FPR be the culprit? I also am wondering if maybe one of the hoses has somehow come off the pump in the tank.
