Default WOW Trans Am Headlight

I have read alot of posts here about these TA headlight issues. I dont believe they fit my problem. At first the arm was not catching on the stop, so the left would go up and down 5 times before stopping in the up position. I fixed that, but now the left one opens but wont close. I take the arm off every night and cycle the light 5 times and put the arm back on.

Check the mount for the arm. The cast piece that the arm attaches to cracks easy and this will happen. Happened to me..

Had same issue after some unknown nuckfutz in my company's parking lot obviously ( smudged buttprint) sat on it ? WTF!!. Broke one of the screw ears on the cast mounting plate under the cover. The door would not close at all but would get stuck on edge of the hole and scraped the paint down to the primer. After careful examination of the mechanism I loosened the other screws . I snapped it back into proper position opening and closing the cover via headlight switch adjusting and tighting the screws one by one . I made minor adjustments to get it just right even with one screw hole cracked. This is not an easy part to find so I hope your fix is as easy as mine was. Good Luck

is there a way to manually raise and lower the headlight assembly?
