Default Idle Higher Suddenly?

On cold start this morning the car was idling pretty high at 1500 RPS and warmed up it was idling about 100-150 RPMS higher than normal during the 30 min drive to work. I haven't made any changes to the car lately. Could it be my MAF sensor? I descreened it a few years ago.

It could be your IAC valve starting to stick ,its kind of like a needle and seat,,if it doesnt close completely it lets air in, causing your idle to raise. Its located in the DS of the throttle body.

Well when I drove home today it was back to normal. I guess it wouldn't hurt to clean all the sensors since its never been done.

It could be the tb blade stuck open a touch also. A little 3in1 oil on the shaft will do the trick if that is your problem.
