02 TA headlights inop

Default 02 TA headlights inop

ok im confused, driverside headlights inop, heres what i did
checked bulbs via connecting them to the pass side both lights work fine
k so its not the bulbs
now heres the kicker i hooked my meter up to the drivers side plug that goes into the back of the bulb and there is power the same amount of current as the pass side(which work) so if there is power at the plug then how does the light not work? im very confused please someone help its a dd and i drive at night everyday.

The wires all go through the headlight motor connector. (Motor and bulbs.) You could check there, but I'd suggest checking the headlight switch in the dash first if both of your lights are going out. (Each side is pretty well isolated except back towards the switch.)

so you say to check the headlight switch where is that located at?and how can i check it.

The one in the dashboard that you use to turn the lights on/off. Just take it out of the dash and test. (There is no relay in the system - all the power to the lights goes through the switch.) The sticky in this section may have the wiring pin-outs where you can do a continuity test on it to make sure its working.

You may also do a search. There are other posts here with the problem.

If you have power to the plug but the light doesnt work. it's probably a loose or coroded connection in the plug connector.
