Default How are Prothane Motor/Trans Mounts?

I was thinking of buying these Motor Mounts and Transmission Mount.

http://www.ws6project.com/user_stor/...on-mounts-kit/

I just wanted to know how Prothane Motor Mounts & Trans Mount would compare to the stock ones?

I have 112k miles on my 99 so I'm sure its time to swap these out.

Thanks

The mounts will limit engine movement considerably more than the stockers. You may feel that the car rides rougher due to the lack of absortion. However, I will still always be an advocate for them over stockers. Stockers wear out, and get mushy, that will not happen with the polys..

Why do you say this? I currently have poly mounts for both because I was told to make sure they match. Either stockers on both, or polys on both. Since installing both sets of polys, it feels like I'm driving on the rumble strip at certain rpm's. On the plus side, at WOT, everything stays solid and just feels stronger. Is this a result of the trans poly mounts, or motor polys? I ask because i'm debating swapping out my trans poly mount

techically you want to have pollys up front and a rubber trans mount. reason being is that the motor will roque under load more so if you have rubber mm then all that torque is transferred to a single small point on the tailhousing of the tranny which can reult in it cracking this has happened quite a few times. by keeping the rubber trans mount with the pollys it allows most of the energy to still be absorbed by the rubber trans mount and it also keeps the car from vibrating as much.
