Window motor... HELP!!!
I swear...Sometimes Im so stupid!..
I cant figure out how the ****! to put my window motor back in? How to line it up. I got n a hurry and didnt pay attention to how to came out.
Ive checked all the posts and theres really nothing that shows how it lines up
can some help me out here?

Are you using the shbox method with the regulator still attached to the door? If so, you'll need to get a mirror inside the door to see. There should be a hole in the middle of the regulator, near the gear rack, that accepts the shaft that the motor gear is on. From there, just rotate around that point until the holes line up.
If you get the gear and shaft in the right place, you should be able to line up the holes.

More importantly WHY? Its so much easier to just pull the whole regulator out and put it in a vice. Thats if your NOT replacing the regulator with it (which is easier than all of the above). I'd never replace a motor with the regulator in the door, too much can go wrong.

I really don't see how it could be easier to remove the whole regulator, at least in the case of these cars.
