Default Pulled water pump for cam swap 2 differnt colors of coolant?

I have always had muddy brown *** coolant in my car ever since I bought it and had the stock ls1 in it. now after the 418 was put in I know the coolant was flushed and replaced but it still pretty much looked like brown crap I assumed that the radiator was had it in there probably from mixing the green and the red, or maybe the power steering cooler was messed up.

However when I pulled the eltric water pump the coolant in the bottom 2 holes was green, the coolant in the top 2 holes matched the color that was in the radiator what the heck is wrong here?

wouldnt all the coolant be the same color if it was cycling threw the motor.

I cant see the water pump not working cause theres now way this engine would have survived without water.

hmmm.... personally id flush it all out with distilled water... twice... then put whats called a global coolant in mixed with distilled water...

If you mix ANY amount of dex-cool with green the coolant will sludge or slurry... i seen it happen on a Lightning intercooler... just a thought

yeah thats what I assumed but just odd theres 2 different colors of coolant, if it was flowing threw the engine properly I would assume it would of all mixed and be the same color
