Wix oil filter problem

Wix oil filter problem I have an LS3 with a fbody pan. Wix filter 51522 will not screw on. What's the problem? Thought this was the correct filter but I guess not. Please provide me with the correct part number

I think the problem is my fbody pan has the new 22mm thread. Im going to order the Wix 57045 and see if that works.
The 57045 has a filter bypass relief valve and the older style filter doesnt. Im not sure if the filter being bypassed is ever a good thing. Thoughts?
