does amyne know exactly how to remove this bracket ...does it require me to lower the ac condenser?

Regarding the T50 bolt:

place a socket extension bar (or a steel drift) straight on the torx head, and give it a quick sharp hit with a medium hammer...

this will unfreeze the threads so you can then break loose the bolt;

maybe also spray penetrating oil on it before doing the above (I don't always spray it).

Mine came loose with zero effort too, so you're not alone. I use an 18 inch ratchet and it popped loose easily. No idea why some are so bad off.
