Default Howling Sound at WOT?

Alright guys hoping someone has some info on this issue.

Just bought a 99 t/A everything works great car pulls like a monster no issues at all. However there is this thing thats been bugging me. The car at WOT makes a sharp howling sound coming from the rear of the car. From the inside it sounds like a low howling sound however from the outside my friends say it sounds like a high pitch screaching from the exhaust area.

The car has no exhaust just straight pipes out the back ending in dual chrome tips. So now im wondering if this is normal or something to worry about anyone have any input? thanks.

It sounds like the output bearing on your rear end. Or something worse inside carrier.

Its a common issue with 10 bolt tooth picks. I would pull the rear diff cover, do a service. Check for chunks of metal, and pinion wear...

Mine howls like crazy. Most likely a pinion bearing.
