Default Power steering pump

Have a 01 Trans am that the power steering has been out on since I've got it, although my forearms are getting pumped, im ready to get back to turning easy lol. So, anybody ever had to change their ps pump? Was it hard to do? I took it to a shop and they want $500 and im just really not wanting to pay that much since I can get the parts for less than $100.

Fairly easy.. You need a puller/installer though.

You will need a puller/installer and it will take about 45 minutes to an hour. I've done a few of them over the years so it doesn't take long for me.
