Default No heat???

I just replaced the waterpump on my 2000 Z28. Now I don't have any heat. Is it possible that I swapped the 2 hoses on my waterpump going to my heater core? I've got all the air out of the system and it's running at normal temps. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You can't mess them up, they are two different size hoses. They won't fit on the ports if they were crossed.

I would take both hoses off the two water pump ports......blow into each of them and coolant should shoot out of the other hose ends....... If it comes out no problem, it's not the heater core. I would also put the garden hose up to the end of one hose and see if water pushes and flows right through the heater core easily.....like flushing it out. Just do it under easy pressure.....not with a spray nozzle.

Did you change the coolant when you did waterpump. I had air in my lines last year and same problem. Bled air and it works fine. Either one or the other i imagine the heater core or air

Yes the coolant was changed. Both lines going to the heater core are hot, so wouldn't that mean I'm getting coolant through it? How did you bleed your system?

remove the radiator cap, start it up and let it run till the thermostat opens, if there is air in there it should work its way out. Make sure you top it off before you put the radiator cap back on. There might be another way but that is how ive always done it.
