Default Turn signal flasher help

Hey guys I have a 2001 firebird. I diagnosed that my flasher went out. I know it's located to the right of the steering column and mounted to the bottom of the instrument panel carrier. Can somebody explain step by step on how to remove the ip to get to the flasher please?

No need its not on or by the instrument cluster. Remove the black rubber panel above your feet. Next remove the panel that houses your hatch release button. Look to the right where your right knee would hit the dash and there it is just to the left of the radio and about that high. It will have a spring loaded clip holding it to the panel. remove it and replace with new. Easy... Hope this helps.

just remove lower panel that's under the steering column. 2 Phillips screws and 2 7mm screws and remove panel.
