Question wierd grinding sound when braking hard

hey guys, i just finished an a4 to m6 swap and I am 90 percent sure the trans swap has nothing to with this problem but now when i brake, i get an odd grinding sound, kinda like one of the clips came off and is rubbing against the rotor when braking, but cant see anything. (haven't taken it apart to look, needed the car to be able to drive today). if anyone has any ideas, let me know thanks in advance.

Id get it off the ground, see if each tire spins freely. Check for grooves in the rotors with your finger/fingernail. Inside of the rotors too......could just be touching on the inside of one.
