Default Won't crank over

I was having trouble starting my car last year. Some days I had to cycle my key a few times to get it to start. Does this mean my ignition switch is bad or do I have a bad wire from the switch to the starter? Please help.

Year, make, model, mods?

If you have to cycle the key to get the car to start it's usually the fuel pump or FPR starting to go out.
