Default Non-engine wiring harness question

I'm trying to figure out what this part of the wiring is called? Is it replaceable? some rats or squirrels got in there and chewed up some of the insulation.

I really suck at soldering so I would like to avoid it if all possible.

It's not a connector, it's a pass-through. It's a huge firewall grommet. If none of the wires are damaged, I'd just tape it up.

Problem is I think some are damaged I was really hoping it was like the engine wiring harness but smaller. Is there a connector on the inside that would slide through maybe?

Here's what it looks like out of the car. I'm not sure if you can slide wiring out of that pass-through, it's built pretty solid. Just note this is an LT1, but yours should be similar.

Best thing to do if everything works ok is to cover the damage with silicone RTV sealer. Much better than tape as it will water proof the exposed copper wire.
