Default cleaning the grounds

been having an intermittent electrical issue(volt guage every once in a while dips below 12 and then comes back to normal) I know some signs are pointing to the alternator, I have a not even year old battery, and I got the big 3 wire upgrade. Before I tackle the alternator, I want to clean all the grounds I can find. Whats the proper way to clean the grounds?, besides the of course disconnect the battery. Thanks.

Just hit them with a little sandpaper usually does the trick. If especially dirty, wipe off then light sand. Not too hard.
