Default Car Shakes until gets over 55 mph... HELP

Need some help in diagnosing , and trying to see what my Mechanic tomorrow ( Monday ) will likely tell me is wrong with my TA , and what I can expect , Money wise for the repair costs.

Here's what my TA is doing..... When sitting at Idle, it will shake some , although not violently ( and the RPM gauge does NOT fluctuate.... which is a good thing , right ? )

When I accelerate and give it gas though, the whole car shakes , but ONLY WHEN i give it gas ...... as soon as I let off of the gas peddle , the shaking stops.

Once I get up to the 55 - 60 mph speed , the shaking quits completely.

I have had all 8 spark plugs changed out about 4 months ago.

The motor mounts seemed in good shape at the time they changed the spark plugs.

I even put a Gas Treatment in my tank the day that this shaking started to occur ( apparently they didnt help, as it is still shaking ).

What could be wrong with the car ..... Transmission ? Motor Mounts ?

Thank you for any and all help

When you let off the gas at any speed....the shaking stops completely?

If its shaking under throttle only, you may want to check the bushings in the torque arm.

Pinion angle could be off and causing this. I had this exact problem and a new bushing fixed it.

My car was shaking like it was going to come apart....LOL...it was wild.....

lHi LS6427

Thank you for your reply

Yeah, as soon as I left of the gas, the shaking completely stops.
Then as soon as I give it gas and start accelerating , it starts again.

The crazy thing, is that it completely stops, once I get above 55 -60 mph

How much would you say, that I'm looking cost wise for New Bushings ?

And I know man , car feels like it's about to give way and fall apart when I'm driving it . Definitely not perfered lo

Not saying this is definitely the problem.....have your mechanic inspect your bushing first. If its falling apart or has a lot of play in it, or dry rotted.....thats probably the issue.

I think I paid for a new one at PepBoys for like $20.00

My friend put it in in about 30 minutes.

I think is the one I got from Pepboys:

awesome, thank you for the Links to the parts.

So I should put them on myself I take it , as it seems fairly simple to do.... plus would save me a lot of $ , vs having my mechanic do it

First check the bushing...see if its all old and crappy with play in it. Then change it.

I would think its easy to do....my friend did it for me because he has his own car lift in his private shop. Did it real fast for me.

same thing happened to me and it turned out to be bad gas. i just drove it till it got to about 1/4 full and put a full bottle of stp fuel injector cleaner in it and drove it like that till almost empty.....the shaking stopped immediately and on my next fill up (at a diffferent station) the problem was completely gone.
