Default HELP: Alternator battery wires.

Okay so I'm almost finished with my heads and cam build on my 00 z28. I had the alternator with the battery wires still on it and I set it to the side in my yard. Long story short, my mom ended up mowing the wires. The big wire coming out of the alternator is still fine, the power wire that goes to the fuse block is also fine. It tore it up by the battery hook ups. Just needing to know what gauge to use and were they go too.

I can see that black and red wire go to the positive battery terminal and the wires split up from that point. Where do they go? If I'm correct, it runs off to the starter. Is there anything else? I'm trying to remember if there was maybe a small ground or something on that side as well.

Three positive cables: starter, alternator, fuse block.
Two negative cables: chassis (next to battery), engine block on passenger side (bolt almost directly above oil level sensor).

I just redid all of them with 0 gage welding cables and 3/8" ring terminals.
