Default Trying to fix ac in wife's truck, I need some help.

It's a 2004 silverado. I vacuumed the system. I tried to put in pag oil but it wouldn't take it through the line like they show in the videos. Moved on to just adding 24oz of r134. The air inside still wasn't blowing very cold so I added another can. It started to blow cooler then quickly it just turned burning hot. I don't really know what to do or look for next. Id really appreciate some help. I don't want to tow the truck 100 miles to get a shop to overcharge me.

I'll upload a video in a bit to show the gauges...I don't know what the numbers are telling me.

Did you put in straight PAG oil or was it a mix with R134A??

I believe it was a mix. I put 3 cans of the 1oz pag oil charge.

It's more than likely not the Ac that's the issue. The blend doors are a huge problem on that year truck I've had 2 and known of spawns that do the same thing. Google it and you will find lots of info on it.

I Googled it, and it sounds like that may have been the problem the whole time. I hope I didnt ruin the whole system by overcharging it and then removing too much. The low side shows to be around 100+ and the high side is now showing around 125, outside temp is in the mid 90's.
