Default window regulator roller question

Has anyone ever replaced one of the "rollers " on the window regulator frame assembly ?

I have, it was loads of fun, but cost me less than $10.

After having just replaced a regulator...I'd probably just get a new regulator..you'll still probably have to pull the thing halfway out to have any chance of welding the new roller in without damaging the door, and the Window regulators aren't really that expensive either. Dorman units can be had for like $30

I drilled out the rivet / pin that held the roller. The roller is plastic and cracked almost in half, causing the window glass to see saw. Once I had the cracked roller and pin in hand, I went to Home Depot. I found a steel patio door roller, just about the same overall size. I used a bolt, washer nut setup to re-assemble, and some extra grease for the roller track. I had a great time doing this and look forward to do it again. Its been about 6 months, no problems.
