Default Power steering pump and alternator options.

Hope some of you guys might be able to help me out. I got a 2000 camaro ls1. I blew the steering pump in it about a year and a half ago(doing a lock to lock donut sheared the input shaft ). I've replaced it twice since then and have had problems with them leaking out of the front seal, which caused my alternator to go on the fritz also. I just changed the alternator this weekend when i took it out of storage, it lasted 15 minutes!
So i have to admit that i am hard on stuff(thats why i bought an ls1. You can beat her and she beggs for more!) which can't be said for the accesories. Does anyone know of any improvements or upgrades for these systems? It is very frustrating having to fix this crap, when all i wanna do is drive my car and beat up on the competition!
