Stripped battery threads
Besides buying a new battery, is there any way to fix?...it is a red top Optima.
The battery is only 3 months old...doesn't look like I could get a tap in there due to the shallowness of the hole.
I partially blame Racetronix for the cheesy bolts they supplied with their fuel pump, but what can you do.
TIA

Well I bought it off eBay...so I would probably have to send it back to Optima directly...if possible, I'd like to fix it...maybe convert it to the top post connections

But as far as the battery goes it is certainly still under warranty as Waiting said, though I doubt that covers stripped bolt holes. Take it to a local AZ, Kragen, Pep Boys, whatever is around and see if they can help you out. If they can Im sure they would have no problem ordering it for you.
