Ticking sound coming from the dash area... My 99' Camaro SS sounds like it is ready to blow!!
Sure dont know what the heck it is, but it sounds like a ticking bomb coming from behind the dash area or radio area. It does not always do it. It does it while it is sitting still, while it is at full speed. Any one experienced this and found a cure? I have also developed a bad screaming rattle that seems to be coming from the ashtray area. I have a 6 speed car by the way.
Hell, while I'm at it anyone ever found the cause/cure for the hatch rattle that again, "screams at you" when driving?
Love my ride but these drive me nuts.
I figure I would draw on everyones experience before I go rippin' away to discover what I can do.
