Default Factory Engine Oil Cooler ???

I noticed on my F-Body road race car that it has a GM engine oil cooler. To the best of my knowledge; I don't think that they ever came with a remote mounted engine oil cooler. Does anyone know what GM car or truck came with an aluminum block with to hard ( screwed to engine right above the oil filter) 2- 1/2 inch aluminum lines coming out of the block going to 2 rubber lines(around 30 inches) with 8 an fittings on both ends? I crimped one of the hard lines taking out my drivers header and would like to replace it with the same setup. Thanks in advance.

Don't know about the sizes, and you didn't say what year your car is, but there was a factory option in 93, 94, and 95 f-bodies for an engine oil cooler - the RPO is KC4.

I have an oil pan from an 03 lq9 escalade that had those lines coming out of the passenger's side, bolted onto the oil pan flange right above the oil filter. The f-body pan I have has provisions for it, not sure if all pans do.
