ac went out i think?

Default ac went out i think?

well, today here in souther cali it was fcking hot, i get out of work and try to turn on ac and it didnt blow cold air for liek 30 mins, then i decided to turn it off, they day before that it workd, what the hell? does any one know whats wrong, oh and my car is a 98 z28

you could be losing freon, causing the pressure switch to not engage the compressor, filler up with coolant and see what happens. If it does it again, you got a leak.

There are a couple fuses and a relay you can check too. I'd also look around for any signs of oil leaking around the AC connections under the hood which would indicate a leak.

my low oil light comes on in the dash, but my oil is a good level, does the sensor also come on if the coolant is low

I was referring to refigerant oil from the AC. Low oil level light on the dash is from the sensor on the passenger side of the pan for engine oil, low coolant level sensor is yet another sensor for radiator coolant. There's no light that will come on specifically for AC charge being low, the sensor will just keep the compressor from coming on.
