Default headlight problem

Its werid,

I turned off my headlights and the drivers side makes a loud vibration noise for about 4 seconds before going off. If I hit the key fob to unlock the doors the headlight pops up and does the same thing.

Any ideas?

Ok I found out why just a bit ago. Next question is will the extended warranty cover this and how much does it usally cost to have done. Reason I ask is I have a extened warranty and know a shop that will waive my dedutible.

Thanks

Would be at least a 100 bucks to fix because if its less the dealer at least just charges how much it costs

im pretty sure the dealership will make you buy a new motor, even though the gear is stripped.

You can fix it yourself for free. why dont you do that?
