very important. fixing t tops ok well i have a pair of t tops that are really hard operate. the lever takes a lot of force to move. i wanted to take the plastic piece off so i can take a look underneath but i cant figure out how to get it off. i know its possible because when i need the lock fixed the locksmith took it off. i already took off the two side screws but i prob need to get the handle off. any help would be appreciated.

On the car? The brackets the pins slide into are adjustable. There was a post about removing the handle the other day - there's a clip/spring that needs to be removed before you can get the handle off.
