Default Need Some Trouble Shooting on...

For the life of me I cant figure out why my steering wheel vibrates or shimmy and shakes under part throttle say like 4th gear 2500rm or 40-60MPH. If I accelerate fully then its not an issue or above 60mph.

I have taken my rims and tires back to Americas Tire store(bought from) and they balanced them and said the rim is fine, now they are lug centric instead of hub centric also they did come with the spacers to mount which are in . I had a alignment done Nov 05 after I got new struts put in. I didnt get a alignment when I put on the new wheels.

Any takes on what gives

Still need some help. What are some causes. I tried looking up on the net and they said to check suspension parts...could be ball joints, steering rack, power steering etc..

I would check the hubs out, sounds like that may be your problem.

What caused this problem with me was a loose bolt on the steering knuckle (don't know if thats the correct name). It backed off after I had tightened it up after my header install.

Come to think of it, I may have only got the vibration during braking, but its something else to check out.
