whats wrong with my car?
last night i rolled down my drivers window and tried to roll it up and it went up about 2 inches and quit. the button for the passenger side still worked tho. then i got home and went in side and came back out and when i got out to my car i pushed the window donw about an inch and then it worked again. and this morning i jumped in it and started it up and the rpms wouldn't stabilize they kept falling so i had to keep revving it to keep it running and i finally quit and it died. then i started it back up and the rpms were fine but stayed at like 1300? anyone know what this could be, it beats the hell out of me!

Window motors crapping out, going up a little at a time then quitting, restarting after cooling a few minutes, etc. are common. Might just be a coincidence. How old is your battery? Did the gauges sweep? Sounds like it was trying to relearn the idle.

well it didn't sweep. all the gauges were accurate, but the volts were getting kinda high, but that may be that i never look at that gauge and i don't see it move.

I'd get the battery load tested first, if nothing else just to eliminate it. Most autoparts stores will do it free. If the battery is really low, PCM might be trying to relearn the idle when you start it. If it's a stock Delco also take a look at the positive terminal/connection, sometimes they leak.

These side-mount batteries are horrible about leaking under the terminal where you can't see it. Corrosion can build up under that terminal and cause all kinds funky things to happen.
