Default lossing power

ok i was driving home last night and noticed that my check gauges light came on. well...the ampers looked a lil low. so no big deal. well i started home(15miles) i get about halfway home and my abs and my asr light come on. the volts r about 11 at this point. i get about 2 miles from my house and then the service engine light comes on and the air bag too. my guages stop working all go to zero and read nothing. the radio goes off. i pull into the driveway kill it and it wont restart. so i wake up this morning 26 degrees out and the car starts right up no problems volts are up a lil high but everything else is great! so what gives what happend where would i start to look and what would cause it to do that????

Possible alternator failure? Maybe its a bad ground somewhere. Check and clean the grounds and see if that helps. I couldnt do 26 degrees.....that sucks. Sounds like you are in an area that gets snow so there could be rust on one of the grounds.

Sounds like an alternator or battery issue. Both could have caused the symptoms you describe. You can take it to a repair shop and they can test your alternator and battery. Also a good idea to clean the terminals for corrosion.
