Default wierd noise discovered

So I was changing the oil today... my car had been having somewhat of an odd noises lately, I had a thread in this section somewhere. In any case, I get the car up on ramps, and take out the drain plug. As I'm losening it, I see what I thought was oil, SLOWLY come out and stop half way... wtf?? Turns out that it's the bottom 2" from my dipstick that snapped off when I did my headers (there is only about .5" of the dipstick "HOLDER" in the pan, it's still held in place and reads my oil level fine). It was a perfect shot to come out the oil hole, you could imagine my look of amazement to see what had been causing the funny noises in my engine No pics as it was lost in the batch of oil and recycled.

More or less, my friend who helped with the install and was there after FIVE hours of trying to remove the dipstick had a look similar to that on his face too hahah
