Passenger window only rolls up!?

Passenger window only rolls up!? I got this car under presumption the window motor was shot, so i put in a new one and tested it out before i lined the gears up and it would go up but not down. It won't go down with the driver or passenger button. Is this a simple thing I'm overlooking?
