Default Is it bad to have no Air solenoid?

I keep getting P0412 and P0410 and its pissing the heck out of me! I just hate seeing that check engine light on. So today I followed the gearchatter steps. I tested the "+" and "-" of the Air Solenoid where it goes in the engine bay fuse box. The test lamp lights up. However the light keeps coming back even when I bought a new solenoid today.

So now it ripped out the solenoid and it doesnt have one, unless I put it back in. No codes yet, even tho I ran it for a minute.

Whats your guys conclusion on that?

As long as you have the connectors plugged in you will not throw codes. If you just leave the solenoid off and the connector unplugged it will trip the light. I know this from my evap system.
