Default 2002 Alternator Rebuild

I just bought a new, to me, LS1 setup for my 1970 Corvette. I have been taking off all the accessories so I can clean them up. The alternator is pretty grungy and I want to take it apart so I can bead blast it.

I took the nut off of the pulley. The pulley must need to be pulled with a puller. To pull the rectifier and diode trio off the back of the alternator, it looks like I need to break out the soldering iron. I am sure someone has done this. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
