Default Outer tie rod noise??

When our outer tie rods go bad/wear, exactly what kind of noise do they make? Could it be a loud click/knock when you turn the wheel anything off of center? Everything else is tight up front, upper and lower ball joints/outer ties all have fresh Amsoil grease, swaybar bushings are lubed, and the power steering has fresh RP fluid with no cavatation. Does the steering shaft u joint need to be lubed? Can this go bad like the LT1 "rag joint" units?? Thoughts?

How do your control arm bushings look?
Any recent repairs in that area?

It makes this noise when the (steering) wheel is turning, EVEN when standing still. It has to be something in the rack/tie rods/shaft u joint.
