Question plastic shroud

is it o.k to drive my car for a few days without the plastic shroud under the radiator? I will not have the problem solved by tomorrow and still have to drive to work. It is some kind of weird coolant leak

Are you talking about the air dam/deflector?

you need that air dam to help keep the air flow under the hood

Yeah, if you mean the air dam, the long thin piece that hangs down near the ground, that is there to move air across the radiator when you are driving. From what other people have said it will get very hot without it. You could hook up a manual fan switch and run them all the time, that might be enough airflow to keep it cool.
