Default MAF Question

My SES light comes on a normal basis but the weird thing is, is that when the light comes on the car rides like ****. But when the light will go off by its self and once the light turns off the car rides perfect. So i don't understand why the light will turn off by its self if nothing is actually wrong. And why it'll turn off and the car will run very smooth.
Please help if you know whats going on or if you have the same problem.
Thanks Matt

Just go to an autoparts store on Highway 6 and have the codes checked while the SES light is set.

it can be the maf or an o2....

the maf might be getting an inconsitant load from the power source....

an o2 will switch back in forth and a dieing o2 can also do that.....

check the code if its a maf, check the load on the maf
