Default Weird problem

So a couple weeks ago my AC clutch seized and I had to have the compressor replaced. Since then the voltage gauge has gone haywire. I took it back to the place I had it replaced at and they said it was a belt problem and replaced the belts. But it's still doing it so I'm fresh out of ideas. I doubt it's the alternator as that's less than 3 months old and it all started after the compressor was replaced.

sounds like a grounding wire to the voltage guage my oither car had that problem but it would change and then the voltage guage would go down but it would be normal volatage sometimes too

Ya it seems to be more normal voltage when it is the morning or evening and it's cooler.
